Black Gold's barn name is "Diesel". He is homozygous for the black gene and cannot produce chestnut even when bred to a chestnut. One of the only known homozygous black Section B welsh stallions in the country, he has an outstanding pedigree, great movement, a huge step and correct conformation. Diesel stands at 12.2hh and is an outstanding choice to cross on larger mares to produce crossbred hunter ponies or to cross with purebred Welsh mares to produce correct well-bred Welsh ponies. Diesel's sire was the well-known stallion,*Pendock Sir Percy, a 3/4 sibling to *Pendock Masterpiece. This is his last foal as Percy was recently deceased at the age of 32. Diesel's dam, *Pendock Hickory, is also imported and is by the outstanding stallion, Lindisfarne Guardsman.
